Effective date: October 11, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information EOL Classroom Online (“EOL Classroom”, “we”, “us”) collects when you visit eolclassroom-online.com (the “Site”), how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
You can use the Site without creating an account. Our games, simulations, timer and guides do not ask for your name, email address or any other personal information.
- Information you send us. If you use our contact form, we receive your name, email address, the topic you choose and your message.
- Technical information. Like most websites, our hosting provider and our security and performance provider (Cloudflare) automatically process technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, referring page and the date and time of your visit. This data is used to deliver the Site, keep it secure and fix errors.
- Cookies and similar technologies. Our advertising partners use cookies, web beacons and similar technologies, as described in Section 3.
2. How we use information
- To run, maintain and improve the Site, its games and its tools.
- To reply to your messages, questions and requests.
- To protect the Site against spam, abuse and security threats.
- To show advertising that keeps the Site free to use.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information for money, and we never ask for sensitive information such as passwords, payment details or student records.
3. Advertising and Google AdSense
We use Google AdSense to show ads on the Site. Ads are always labelled “Advertisement”.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this Site or other websites.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this Site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google’s Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info/choices or, in Europe, youronlinechoices.eu.
- To learn more, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and Google’s advertising policies.
Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent through a consent message before personalized ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time through that message or through your browser settings.
4. Managing cookies
Most browsers let you view, block or delete cookies in their settings. If you block advertising cookies, you will still see ads, but they will be less relevant to you. Blocking all cookies may affect how some parts of the Site work.
5. Embedded content and links
Our science and math simulations are provided by PhET Interactive Simulations (University of Colorado Boulder) and load from their servers when you open one. Embedded content behaves as if you visited the other website, and is covered by that provider’s privacy policy. The Site may also link to other websites; we are not responsible for their privacy practices.
6. How long we keep information
Messages sent through the contact form are kept for as long as needed to answer them and for up to 12 months afterwards, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Technical logs are kept by our providers for limited periods for security purposes.
7. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in Europe, the UK GDPR, or U.S. state laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act), you may have the right to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Some U.S. state laws treat the use of advertising cookies for targeted ads as “sharing” personal information; you can opt out using the options in Section 3. To make a request, use our contact form and choose “Privacy request”. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
8. Children’s privacy
The Site is intended for teachers, parents and learners aged 15 and over. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Our games and tools can be used without providing any personal information. If you are under the age of digital consent in your country, please ask a parent or guardian before contacting us. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
9. Security
The Site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, and we take reasonable measures to protect the information we receive. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page.
